Cross-border long-term apprentice mobility

Making it work: suggestions for national policy-makers

Cross-border long-term mobility of apprentices (CBLTMA) is still limited in practice in Europe. This guiding paper is based on a 2019-20 Cedefop study and invites national policy-makers to reflect on the challenges that hinder cross-border exchange mobility of apprentices. For each challenge, policymakers will find tips and policy suggestions to overcome these challenges in the future.

As part of this research, Cedefop published a report with the results of studies at country and project level. This publication presents considerations on the enablers and disablers of CBLTMA. The results for the Netherlands can be found here.
