Karel Kans is an experienced researcher and specialist and has been working as a managing expert researcher at ECBO since 2014. Leading and co-conducting qualitative and quantitative (policy) research on vocational education and training, lifelong learning, labour market; monitoring and evaluation; project management, national and international. Karel puts facts before interests. He does this in evaluation research, but also when he works with various interest groups on a shared vision of a good match between training and the needs of the labor market.
He is the coordinator of Refernet Netherlands since 2020.
