In 15 data insights, Cedefop outlines the EU’s progress towards their targets for vocational education and training (VET) and lifelong learning. The overall picture is positive. For example, the average employment rate in the EU was around 79.7% in 2022, near to the 82% target for 2025. There are also some challenges. For instance, only 54% of the EU adult population is proficiently digitally skilled, whereas the target level for 2025 is 70%. The 15 data insights are published on Cedefop’s website.
