26-05-2025 | Green research projects funded through the KIEM-groen subsidy scheme equip students with essential research skills and foster innovation in the agricultural sector
The Netherlands saw in 2015 with the launch of practorates, research units in VET-schools, new opportunities to link research and the application of its outcomes in school practice. Practorates offer VET students the opportunity to get involved in research projects and learn about new technologies and agricultural sector innovations. This is made possible through the KIEM-groen subsidy scheme, which allows agricultural VET schools to apply for research funding.
